Case Study - Alegio Chocolate

Local business owner Panos wanted his Alegio chocolates highlighted using close-up photography for his website and for use in promotional materials. Each chocolate is a work of art in itself, so close up macro photography was required to capture the intricate designs found on top of each morsel. Using a stylized lighting setup, we capture their beauty, before they melted under the heat of my studio lights.

Panos then hired me to take shots of his son holding some of the Alegio chocolates. He wanted the portrait displayed on a tall, narrow panel located on the store's facade.

Lastly, Panos wanted a photograph of this storefront. This was problematic because his shop is located in a narrow hallway. Using Photoshop to combine numerous photos, I was able to turn a nearly impossible shot into a quick turnaround job that pleased the client, without the use of traditional large format cameras or renting a lens for architectural photography.
